I am a political scientist originally from Seville, in southern Spain.
I work as a predoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Law of the Pablo de Olavide University with the support of an FPU fellowship from the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.
Before, I also studied for a Bachelor’s in Political Science and Public Administration at the Pablo de Olavide University and moved to Madrid in 2022 to study for a Master’s degree in Government and Democracy at the Autonomous University of Madrid. Throughout my time at the university, I was recognized with 17 Honours, the Best Grade in Political Science and Public Administration Award, and the Best Graduate Record. In addition, I was a collaborating student all this time, receiving the Collaboration Scholarship of the Ministry of Education and the prestigious JAE-Intro Scholarship of the CSIC, which I developed in the Institute for Policies and Public Goods.
I am a member of the Spanish Society of Academic Excellence. To my credit, I have numerous courses and seminars of scientific and academic specialization, as well as attendance, participation, and organization of events of high national and international scientific relevance. I have also co-authored several scientific articles in high-impact international journals, contributed to generating new empirical evidence, and participated in highly competitive research projects.
Currently, I am working on my doctoral thesis on Judicial Politics in Spain in which I study the role played by the Constitutional Court in the configuration of center-periphery relations.
